Transnational democratic labs in Portugal aim at increasing civic competences, leadership, and democratic skills among youth participants and support the design of 1 joint youth-led initiative addressing shared social challenges.
The labs create space for young people to strengthen their understanding of democratic participation, active citizenship, and shared responsibility.
Participants are encouraged to take initiative, communicate their ideas, cooperate with others, and develop confidence as young civic actors.
Through international dialogue, young people explore common issues affecting their communities and look for practical responses together.
The programme will support the design of 1 joint youth-led initiative developed by participants and focused on democratic engagement and social impact.
